John has helped me through my career arc as a young engineer and manager to a CEO of a successful small business that was recently acquired. I have a very dog eared copy of the first edition of "Lead Now" and really enjoyed the newer version. I really like how John and Daniel Stewart guide you through their 21 dimensions of a good leader and deftly force the reader to assess his or her leadership style. Introspection is not easy yet as I read and re-read "Lead Now", I always find areas for improvement such as being a better listener, managing my ego, and my hardest skill-delegating effectively. I recommend this book for anyone that wants to be a better, more effective leader and would especially recommend it for recent entrants into the job market who can learn some valuable lessons in the early part of his or her career when good habits are easier to make rather having bad habits that are harder to break.
